About Us
Noosa Country House is a purpose built bed and breakfast established in 1992. Originally it was set on 12 acres of sub-tropical gardens and bush. The first owners had built this place as a cottage style bed and breakfast with a beautiful cottage garden at the front of the house, some plants still remain and we plan to re-develope the gardens into a Tropical wonderland. The Wenzel family bought Noosa Country House in July 2006, since then we have been putting our own flare into the place and redoing the gardens and pool area.
Noosa Country House is now situated on one and a half acres – a tranquil Queenslander with verandahs all around. There are four individually styled rooms – Nautical, Parisian, Etruscan and Moroccan. All rooms are ensuited with air conditioning and fans, mini fridge, plunger coffee, assorted teas, chocolates and homemade treats.
Janina Wenzel and Travis Dick are your onsite managers who are available 24 hours within reason. Janina has worked extensively in the hospitality and tourism industries and enjoys to create fabulous creations in the kitchen, where as Travis is happily in the background doing most of the manual labour and transforming the gardens.
We are only 15 minutes from Noosa Heads or 8 minutes from Eumundi making it the perfect location to be far enough away from the hustle and bustle yet close enough to all the action.
